Ocean World Adventure Park hosted 14 travel agents representing wholesalers from Miami, Boston and New York, participants in the fam trip organized by the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic together with the Tourism Promotion office in New York and American Airlines to promote Puerto Plata.
During their visit they enjoyed a tour of the facility where they learned about the activities and interaction programs available, as well as the protocols implemented for a safe return of the tourism industry. They experienced feeding love birds and close encounter with 10 year old Sea Lion “Chado”, born in Ocean World. A more adventurous group also enjoyed swimming with the dolphin.
The members of the familiarization trip were accompanied by Fernando Abreu from the OPT of New York and Prudencio Ferdinand from the Ministry of Tourism.
All were very happy with the incredible pictures they took as souvenirs, stating that the visit to Ocean World is truly a once in a lifetime experience !!
