Requirements

• Children are ages 4–12; adults are ages 13 and over. Infants aged 0–3 have free admission.
• Minimum height for the capybara interaction: 45 in / 114 cm.
• A valid Dominican ID card (cédula) is required for this resident rate.
• Dolphin Encounter takes place in shallow water and welcomes all ages.
• Maximum participant weight: 300 lb / 136 kg.
• One participating adult aged 18 or over is required for each child under 11.
• Guests must be able to safely climb ladders to enter and exit the dolphin interaction area.
• Minimum height for reef snorkeling: 45 in / 114 cm.
• Minimum height for water slides and water games: 48 in / 122 cm.
• Review each activity’s participation requirements with our team before booking for young children.

Restrictions

This experience is not recommended for:
• Pregnant guests.
• Guests with back, neck or knee conditions.
• Guests with casts, walking boots or prosthetics.
• Wheelchair or scooter users.
• Guests with visual, physical, intellectual or psychosocial disabilities.
• If anyone in your party has a medical condition, a disability or limited mobility, contact our team before booking to determine whether the Dolphin Encounter + Capybaras combo is suitable.

Important Information

• Early arrival is required to take part in both animal experiences in this combo.
• Follow the Animal Care team’s instructions during every interaction.
• Showering before the aquatic interactions is required.
• Bring swimwear, a towel, sunblock and a credit or debit card. Cash is not accepted.
• Personal cameras, phones, GoPros and electronic devices are not permitted during animal interactions.
• Food and drinks are not allowed in the interaction areas.
• Service animals are not permitted in the animal interaction areas.
• Guests using the included transportation must be able to board the vehicle without assistance.
